Arsenal have been rumored to be in talk with Manchester United to sign Mary Earps - but this is why I don't think they need to sign M.Earps ...

Okay , so look I am not saying at all that Mary Earps would not be welcome in the Arsenal squad and wouldn't help them ...but... here me out...
The rumors of Earps departure from Manchester United began last week when a club , un named at the time, had put in a record transfer fee for a goal keeper.
To sign Mary Earps signature the deal is rumored to cost over 100k - which would take a huge chunk of Arsenal's transfer budget. We already have 3 top class Champions League experienced goalkeepers:
Manuela Zinsberger played as number 1 choice for Jonas Eidevall for most of the season. And , despite some questions over her contract expiring at the end of last season - Zinsberger signed for a year extension on her contract.
2nd choice Sabrina D'Angelo joined in the January transfer window from Vittsjö GIK and has challenged Zinsberger for the number one choice since her joining. Although, MZ has remained as the first choice for Edivell.
3rd choice keeper , Kaylan Marckese recently departed for a season long loan with newly promoted WSL side, Bristol City after struggling for game time last season. She was signed from HB Koge who had played against Arsenal in the Champions league prior.
In addition to the fact that Arsenal already has a very good Goalkeeping unit, Earps wages would also take out a huge part of Arsenal's budget- who are already rumored to be paying new signing Alessia Russo a record wage.
So, in conclusion I think we would all love for Meaprs to join the club. But, for the points mentioned above, Arsenal need to focus on other signings- personally, for me , a defensive midfielder and an all round experienced defender. Of course we all have dream signings but being realistic , I do think their are options out their for the gunners if they are prepared to splash the cash...
Fear not though... I will be analysing all the rumored options for Arsenal :)
