Fran Kirby , Chelsea's leading goal scorer has signed a contract extension to set her to be a blues player until 2024.
Kirby is currently injured and has been ruled out of the World Cup in Australia / New Zealand next summer after picking up a knee injury back in February.
Having 65 England caps, and 110 goals for Chelsea domestically in all tournaments. She has also won the WSL 5 times with Chelsea, and could be 6 by the end of the weekend as the WSL goes down to the final day.
Chelsea play Reading.
If Chelsea win, they will win the title. If they draw , and Man United score a rather large (and unlikely!) amount of goals then they can place second.
Realistically, the only way Man United can win the league is hoping that bottom place Reading can get all 3 points from Chelsea and Manchester United to win against Liverpool (who , have won at home against both Chelsea ,on the opening day, and Manchester City).
Looking at the bottom of the league, Reading will have to win and hope Leicester will drop points Brighton.
It's worth to note - if it comes to it Reading currently have a better goal difference by 3 goals.
