Hannah Hampton, the Aston Villa and England keeper, has confirmed she has left Villa for a 'new chapter in her career' as she called it on a statement shared on her social medias.
In the leaving message Hampton wanted to thank the fans for being what she described as the '12th person for us'.
Hampton will be flying out to Australia / New Zealand with the Lionesses squad after their pre tournament game at the MK Dons ground, so it is unsure if a new club will be confirmed until after the tournament. She has been linked with both Manchester United and Chelsea.
But, will Hampton want to go to a club where she is not a regular starter? Or would signing with the likes of Man Utd and Chelsea help her to become a level above, and fight for the England number one spot?
