England put 4 past Japan

The lionesses where back in action last night in Spain .

England where playing with slightly patchworked team. Following the absence of Fran Kirby, Jordan Nobbs , Lauren Hemp , Alex Greenwood and Lucy Bronze who where listed in the original squad for this November break. They were also without Euro captain Leah Williamson, who is still out following her injury in the last England camp.


The lionesses had to wait until the 38th minute to get their first goal of the match, thanks to Rachel Daly, who was playing in the match as a defender despite playing at club for Aston Villa.

It went in at half time with England 1-0 up.

However, in the second half England came out far the dominant team.

Goals from Chloe Kelly, Ella Toone and senior debutant Jess Park helped the lionesses to a 4-0 win.

Two assists coming from both Beth Mead and Ebony Salmon too.
