First Half

As expected, Arsenal used this match as a great way to test out their new signings.

From the first whistle Arsenal where dominant with possession.

The first goal came from Catlin Foord, from a scrappy corner in which both Kuhl and Foord had it covered for a goal.

Although Kuhl didn't have to wait long for her goal, with a lovely assist from Pelova. Perhaps a shout for a goalkeeping mistake from Simpson, after the ball jumped out of her hands.

Just before the end of half Kim Little was able to score from the spot with a decisive penalty before the end of the half .

Second Half

Arsenal did not stop the goalscoring fanatics after the break, scoring a total of 5 goals in the second half, Leeds somehow keeping it to just single figures .

Lina Hurting began the second half scoring tally with a header from a corner,

Jen Beattie , who announced her retirement from international football just the other day,

then scored the second header of the match soon after , again from a corner but this time from the other side.

Then Stina Blackstenius scored 2 successive goals. The first from a ball given to Pelova by Kuhl , Pelova was tackled although Blackstenius got on the end of the ball with no defenders around her.

Her second came from a Maanum assist, hitting the back of the net.

The eighth goal was a special one when lifelong Arsenal fan and academy produced 16 year old Michelle Agyemang created her first Arsenal senior goal. She has played 3 first team matches so far- all as substitutes.

The 9th goal to finish off the deal came from Pelova, after Leeds cleared their lines trying to prevent conceding a corner fell into Pelova's feet- and once it reached her their was no doubt on it going in the back of the net.

Hope you enjoyed the match, Lucy.
